Sign the petition to oppose HMRC closures

HM Revenue & Customs has announced its intent to close all 170 offices around the country and replace them with 13 regional centres and 4 specialist sites. The office closures will leave hundreds of staff facing redundancy and decimate local communities where HMRC is the major employer.

PTUC urge their followers and supporters to sign the petition, which can be found here;

FBU’s campaign against cuts to the Fire Service in Suffolk

We Need YOUR Help

WE BELIEVE THAT THE FULL SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL SHOULD VOTE ON CUTS TO OUR FIRE SERVICE, NOT JUST THE NINE MEMBERS OF THE CABINET

A vote for cuts of this severity MUST be made by FULL Council, so all residents of Suffolk’s views are represented. The Nine Members of Cabinet only represent 17% of the voting population. This means 83% of peoples’ views will not be represented.

CWU Petition to defend the public’s postal service

No-one ever explained why the public should lose their voice in Royal Mail. Now it is privatised, there is a threat to employment standards, the company’s ability to modernise & grow and the uniformed price six day guaranteed delivery as Ofcom promotes a race to the bottom. We expect the government to act to defend the Postal Industry.

We are seeking a debate on Parliament on the protection of Postal Services.

You can help us by sharing this petition via social media, email and text.
