National Gallery Campaign & Call for Rep Reinstatement

PCS have been fighting a concerted campaign to save the National Gallery in London from being privatised.  Gallery staff have already taken industrial action.  In the midst of this dispute one of the senior union reps, Candy Udwin, has been suspended for alleged breach of confidentiality.

Fire Brigades Union strike: 9 – 10 December 2014

FBU members were out on strike again on 9-10 December 2014.  PTUC Delegates were out in support at the picket line in Stanground.  This strike was in response to the current government’s  laying of unfair, unaffordable and unsustainable pension regulations before parliament.

Further Health Sector Industrial Action

UNISON members working in the NHS in England will stage a four-hour stoppage between 7am and 11am on Monday 24 November.

This will be followed by a week of action short of strike action between Tuesday 25 and Sunday 30 November when members will work to rule and not do any unpaid overtime.
